2-the init3909 function never raises NOT CS when done !
3-i am not at all certain your setup command for the 3909 is correct
even if you DID handle the enable line correctly

So I'm having some troubles getting communication between my pic and Mcp3909 measuring chip, I've made the connections:

PIC MCP
An0--->CS
An1--->MCLR
SDO-->SDI
SDI--->SDO
CCP2- ...

I appreciate this info, but by the looks of it these are for C18 & C32 compilers, I was curious if anyone had recommendations for CCS compiler as I am more comfortable with it.
