CCS - MPLAB Compatability
Current Setup
MPLAB V 5,20
CCS PCB V 2.722
Picstart V 2.01
After getting fed up with MPLAB telling me
that there was a newer version of Picstart
I upgraded my programmer to V 3.11
This I found did not work with MPLAB 5.2
so I upgraded to V 6.3
Although I could read PICs and programme from
a hex file, CCS projects could not be converted
and I could not interface my V 2.722 to MPLAB.
Does this mean I have to buy yet another version
of CCS PCB.
If I do, can I expect any setup problems, I have
read of a few on this site.

Use MPLAB 5.70.40. I have also upgraded my PicStart-Plus
to Vs. 3.11, and it works fine with that version of MPLAB.
Scroll down a little bit on this page and you will see it.
It's a 13.05 MB download.

My original posting was incorrect. I should have said that my CCS compiler is type PCM.
My problem is not with PICstart/MPLAB compatability but with CCS/MPLAB
(See original posting)

Then get MPLAB vs. 5.70.40, because I know it works with
vs. 2.7xx of the PCM compiler, and it works with vs. 3.11 PicStart-Plus. |
