Pic ethernet isa protocol

Hi

I am currently haveing trouble geting my project of the ground, i wish to ethernet enable a pic and am useing a d-link de200e isa board i know enough about the protoals tcp, ip, udp so on ,but i cant find any data published on the net about controling the board its self does anyone have any info as i would very greatfull. I have searched the forum and found some data on the ne2000 protocol whould that work?

You are going to need a stack. Microchip has one and it has been ported to CCS. This board will work with that stack

Try going to www.lantronix.com and look at the Xport. This is a very small device that can network-enable a device that has a serial port. I've used it in several projects and it has been quite reliable. It is designed to be PCB mounted and runs off 3.3V.

Yes,.. Xport is the way to go for a small project.
