Bonehead question |

Really stupid question concerning the CCS IDE. Starting with version 3.233 and also 3.234, my toolbars are all messed up every time I start the IDE.
By messed up, I mean that they're not neatly arranged - they're all over the place. I can drag them to where they're supposed to be, but the next time I start the IDE, they're messed up again.
How in the world do I place them where I want them, and have them stay there?
Sorry for the bonehead question, but I'm pretty stumped. |

Make sure it is generating a pcw.ini file. This keeps track of stuff like that. Maybe try copying it over from another version you might have installed. But, then again, somebody might be coming into your office(cube) and says: "Hey, look. Let's have some fun and rearrange his screen".

Ronald,
Thanks for the tip. I did what you suggested, and reinstalled an older version, but the toolbar was still screwed up. So I renamed "pcw.ini" as something else, then I installed the latest version. That did the trick - no more messed up toolbars. Thanks for the help!
Oh, and I don't think any coworkers have been messing with me: one meows, and the other wears diapers. Somehow I don't think they messed with my compiler. |
