STRING_INDEX in HID descriptor

I can't figure out how shall I used STRING_INDEX in my USB_CLASS_SPECIFIC_DESC for my joystick descriptor.
I updated my USB_STRING_DESC and USB_STRING_DESC_OFFSET for my new string.
But if I add STRING_INDEX next to USAGE(Trottle) in USB_CLASS_SPECIFIC_DESC, the enumeration then failed.
Any one can help ?
