C source encryption causes compiler errors

Hi all,
I am using a PIC18F45K20, CCS V4.095.
I need to provide source code to a customer with a few of the "C" include files encrypted.
I compile the code without encryption and it compiles and runs OK.
If I encrypt one of the files and compile, I get a whole list of errors.
Is encryption not supported anymore?
