Can anyone tell me how to get started with KS108 Graphical LCD module? I mean can anyone suggest me proper books, examples or articles regarding this matter? I know how to use text LCDs and are very much familiar with their commands and text positioning. However I am a bit confused about how to get things in the right order with a GLCD. Mikroelektronika provides a good GLCD tool and some really cool examples, but CCS PIC C if more good with code efficiency and so I'm a fan of it. The examples given with CCS PIC are really hard to get into the brain by the way. Thus can anyone suggest me from where I can get a good undertanding of GLCD? I will appreciate any good advice.
Thanks in advance.

Let Google be your friend. Googling 'ks108 ccs c code' gave over 5,000 hits. Several first page hits are code that may interest you.
It is not that hard to convert another C into CCS C,just take a bit of time, 'split screen listings' and big pot of coffee. If you have more than a couple of programs to convert, just write a 'code conversion' program to do it all automatically. |

Thanks all of you for your kind advices. My system of learning starts from the roots to the top as much as high possible like a tree. With this GLCD issue I'm not finding the roots. All the worked examples I can get my hands on are impressive but all of 'em need good explanation first hand. For example I'm familiar with CCS PIC C for a long time but actually got things working in corrected manners when I read the book "Embedded C Programming and The Microchip PIC". However such books don't discuss about GLCD, USB, MMC, CAN and other advanced peripherals one can get with a PIC. Thus even after winning a game, I am not victorious in my view.
Anyways thanks again people and keep posting if you get some really cool stuffs. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/MicroArena
