File transfer (ymodem) using Siow
PostPosted: Thu Aug 11, 2011 3:11 am     Reply with quote

Dear pic users,

In my application to send a file over ymodem. Is it possible to use siow?
I didn't find where to configure the file transfer.
I don't like to use hyperterminal because I need also to send hex bytes which is possible with siow and not possible with hyperterminal.

Thanks

Hyperterminal is capable of Y-modem data transfers (along with X and Z). I don't use SIOW so I do not know if file transfers are possible. I have used RealTerm although I finally cut my own code for my applications as I could make a much more compact, faster program than what was out there.
