PIC 16F series synchronous EUSART example
PostPosted: Fri Feb 03, 2012 11:02 am     Reply with quote

Has somebody has a sample / example of a serial synchronous comunication ? Half-duplex is fine too. The task is to receive data at variable speeds. Of course it will be a CLK line along with the RX line. Thanx

Not much in specific details but SPI is a form of what you describe.

If 8 bits or less, the CCS Shift in function works very well.

over 8 bits, a couple of shift registers will work for 16 bits, 3 for 24.

Would need more data , re speed, bits, etc. to give for options.
