File downloading using PIC18F97J60 through internet

Hi all,

I'm new to this PIC programming and currently struggling with PIC18F97J60 to download a file from the internet... I googled for solutions and found this curl and tried. But no luck. Only got errors. Can anybody give me a method other than curl to download a file through internet that works with CCS C version v5.008 or explain how to get it work with curl.

Have you looked at the various PIC TCPIP Stacks?

Using "curl" isn't really a method the PIC supports because curl is a wrapper.

Your use of this term instead of "HTTP" or "FTP" or "HTTPS" already exhibits your experience level.

Which is fine -- once upon a time, I started playing with the TCPIP stack on the PICs.

You need to know though, it's a long road. If you're not getting curl to work, it's because you don't have one of its methods working -- which means you aren't understanding what all is going on inside the PIC.

With that, your post is EXTREMELY lacking in detail.

If you can't explain more to us, we can't really help.
