Problems in running
PostPosted: Wed Aug 05, 2015 10:39 am     Reply with quote

I'm working with a PIC16F887 in a MPLAB environment. When I run the program the cursor remains at #include<16f887.h> line.

Sounds like you're using the MPLAB simulator in 'Debug' mode and not using a real PIC. without seeing your program it is impossible to say what is really wrong though if it 'stops' in that header file, perhaps look in it to see what is happening?
Another option is to select 'single step' operation. That WILL show you exactly which line of code it stops at.
