PIC24F PLL OSCILLATOR
PostPosted: Wed Nov 04, 2009 7:54 pm     Reply with quote

I have troubles to make my PIC to work at 40MHz using a 10MHz XTAL.
Unfortunately in the PCD documentation there is no code example about this.

Has someone got the PIC24F working with PLL X 4?

The PIC24F Fosc is limited to 32MHz with a max CPU Fcy of 16MHZ.

To run the part at 40MHz (/2) will be over it's max clock rate...

Otherwise, setting what you need is as easy as:

Code:
#use delay(clock=32M, crystal=8M)
