hi,
I am trying to program the dsPIC33EP512MU810 , however how can I download a program to the chip. At the moment I am using the PICKIT3, but the PICKIT3 only showing "unsupported device".
I would like to use the dsPIC33EP512MU810 because it has 32-bit QEI. Plz give a some advice and suggestion.

I checked mine, got the same 'error' so...
You just have to download new firmware as the error message reports.
Just go to Microchip's site and locate it( probably search there for 'pickit3 update' or something similar.

Look at:
<http://www.microchip.com/forums/m698776.aspx>
As you will see, it did work in the end, but lists the various things to check and sort out.
