Can use CCS Compiler from an external HD or a Flash stick?
The reason I am asking is that I have the new compiler installed on my PC and my old one on my laptop.
The controllers I am using now don't have in the old compiler so if I am out from home for a few days or weeks can't work on my programs
I don't need an Additional User Licence ($250) as just I am working with the compiler
Best wishes

You don't need the flash drive.
You can put it on two different computers if you're the only user.
See the CCS license agreement:
Quote:
1. LICENSE - CCS grants Licensee a license to use in one of the two following options:
1) Software may be used solely by single-user on multiple computer systems.
2) Software may be installed on single-computer system for use by multiple users. Use of Software
by additional users or on a network requires payment of additional fees.
I will try to install on my Laptop, will post the result.
I will reformat my laptop first to have it like new.
Still have a question:
How CCS can know that I am the same user on "multiple computer system"?
Asking from curiosity, I don't understand to much in computers.
Best wishes

My intention is as I wrote and will not be other way
