Can I use a Load n Go together with serialize?
PostPosted: Mon Mar 11, 2024 7:06 am     Reply with quote

I have a LoRa device that needs a unique 32 byte Appkey programmed in every unit. I managed to make this work with #serialize, the ICD-U80 and a file containing the keys. Kudos to CCS for having thought of this functionality albeit probably meant for serial numbers Very Happy

Thinking about how I would do an upgrade in the field I tried to get this working with the Load N Go but that failed. Programming the .hex file in "Memory 1" with the keyfile available gets me a 'failed to write serial number"
error.

Is this at all possible?

I suggest you ask CCS.
The #serialize option normally needs ccs_load. However they really should
offer a way to do this on the load'n'go, so if they don't, you need to
persuade them to add this!....

Will do. They'll probably ask me to renew my license first as that timed out last October, but that will be worth it Very Happy
