#separate ?
PostPosted: Thu Apr 01, 2004 8:47 am     Reply with quote

Whenever I do the prescribed #separate directive by placing it directly above a function, I end up getting the following error:

" Function definition different from previous definition"

Am I supposed to then put a #separate directive on the line prior to my function prototype as well?

e.g.

#separate
void mike(void); // function prototype
....
#separate
void mike(void) /* function implementation */
{
...
}

Yes, befor the prototye and befor the function. Of course the gold test is to try it and see!

yup, i tried it earlier, and it passed the gold test Laughing

yet i do have other issues making stuff that worked on 18F devices to now work on 16F, as you can see in my flurry of other recent posts. I Just wanted to get the #separate issue out of the way.
