MCLR doesn�t restart the code (include schematics) Why?

Actually, a few days ago I was checking the Piclist archives, searching
for an answer to his question. I searched for keywords: 16F877, reset,
MCLR, etc., and what I found there suggested that it was a problem
with the LVP fuse being set.

However, I didn't post it because the schematic seemed so screwed
up that who knows what the real problem could be ? For example, he
had a 10 nf cap on the output of his voltage regulator, when it should
have been 10 UF. Then when I said you don't call the Microchipc
bootloader from main(), he just said he's always done it that way.

So, I gave up. One more input from me regarding the LVP fuse
wouldn't have made any difference, I felt.

Actually I think his problem isn't solved yet. There were two instances that he claimed the problem was solved:

Yes, you are rigth. In my hand wired board, it worked, but I remember that in my test board I have pullups in all pins. That was my mistake in my board, I don�t put pullups in all. RB4 was working wrong.
The strange is when I connect the keyb, where I have the pullups connected and it didn�t work neither.
But... NOW WORKS, that�s the important, thanks Laughing
