USB using ccs examples not sure what supposed to work

I have taken the example files from the usb scop example and slightly modified them to work with my board. all communicatiopn is doin via SPI.

I have set up a few printf() statements to help

when I plug in the usb cable it pops up in window that a usb device has malfunctioned.

in the interrupt on a rxev it calls usb_get_packet()
in there i have added this line where is puting the rx data in to *ptr:

printf(":%x", *ptr);//todo debug <-----------**

and I did a similar thing for txev using usb_put_packet()
I printf every time *ptr is moved to the usbn9603 chip.


any how this is what I am getting using a terminal program:
