MMC writing problem.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 16, 2005 10:38 am     Reply with quote

Hi Everyone and thank you for reading this,

I am really desperate now.
I have 750 MMC`s to be written, but when I am trying to write MMC under Windows XP it takes like 50 minutes, when I am doing the same under Windows 2000 it takes less then 4 minutes.

The size of data is 40 Mb, and it is a lot if smal files not more then 150-200 Kb.

BTW, I bought two different card readers, all my USB are 2.0 and Win XP has SP2. The name of the cards is Transcend.

Please, help with it.

Perhaps you should try writing to the cards with a PIC controller programmed using the CCS compiler. It might be a round-about way of doing it, but at least it would be an appropriate topic for this forum
