Is CCS a Bandit?

Dear all

I must high-light a problem that I met. I totally buy 3 CCS-U40 for my presonal usage. And a few weeks ago one is broken that caused my unknown reason. And CCS ask me to send back for repair.

Ok. I send it back and paid the shipment fee.

1weeks later, CCS told me I need to pay US$10 for repair because my good is "no longer under warranty".

OK, I agree.

"BUT" I need to pay the return shipment free US$40 and extra US$15 handling charge.

Oh. my God. That is expensive that to buy a new one.

That is the rule CCS to face a product supporter. I buy a offerical CCS PCWH , over 5 demo boards and 3 ICD-U40.

Maybe I must find some cracker version from China to save some money?

Check the shipping price from US Zip code 53008 to Taiwan zip code 100.
I did that on the UPS website for a small package of 1 Kilo weight, with
customs value of $100 USD. UPS wants $84 USD for 1-week delivery
time. Maybe CCS is a bargain. I don't know how they do it for $55.
